Nädalavahetusel avaldatud küsitluste kohaselt Euroopa Liitu jäämist pooldavate brittide osakaalu kasv andis globaalsetel aktsiaturgudel pullidele vajaliku katalüsaatori haarata sentiment vahelduseks taas enda kätte. Ühendriikide sessioon algas samuti väga tugeva tõusuga, kuid elevus kustus päeva lõpuks, mil S&P 500 üle protsendisest rallist oli järele jäänud 0,6%. Viimastel nädalatel suurema müügisurve all olnud Euroopa börsid lõpetasid päeva Stoxx 600 indeksi näol 3,7% plusspoolel.
Esmaspäeva õhtul avalikustatud värskemad küsitlused maalisid üsna erineva pildi, näidates kuivõrd lahtine on endiselt lõpptulemus. Telegraphi küsitluses eelistas ELi jääda 53% ning lahkuda 46% vastajatest, mis märgib olulist muutust võrreldes eelneva nädalaga, mil 49%ga oli eesotsas lahkujate partei (liitu jäärmist pooldas 48%). YouGovi online küsitlust juhtisid aga kahe protsendipunktilise edumaaga lahkujad (44%)
Tänase börsipäeva jooksul selgub, mida arvab Saksamaa riigikohus Euroopa Keskpanga OMT programmist. Ehkki 2012.a avalikustatud vahendit pole keskpank pidanud veel kordagi kasutama ning Euroopa Liidu kohus hindas seda seaduslikuks, läheb sakslaste otsus siiski korda juhul kui Euroopas peaks aset leidma järjekordne võlakriis ning keskpank on sunnitud finantspinge leevendamiseks valitsuste võlakirju piiramatus koguses kokku ostma. Õhtupoole annab Senati ees majandusest ja rahapoliitikast ülevaate Janet Yellen, kes ei tohiks turgude jaoks midagi üllatavat pakkuda. Majandusnäitajatest avaldatakse Saksamaa investorite ja analüütikute juunikuu kindlustunde indeksid.
