  • Donald Trumpi lubadus avalikustada juba lähinädalatel oma maksupoliitika täpsemad detailid aitas USA aktsiaindeksitel murda läbi viimase paari nädala kitsast kauplemisvahemikust ning toetas momentumit ka reedel, millega S&P 500 indeks registreeris nädala lõikes 0,8% tootluse. Sarnases taktis liikusid eelmisel nädalal ka Euroopa aktsiaturud, kosudes Stoxx 600 indeksi näol 0,9%.

Michigani ülikooli järgi alanes USA tarbijate kindlustunne veebruaris 98,5 punktilt 95,7 punktile, valmistades pettumuse analüütikutele, kes prognoosisid langust 98,0 punktile. Langus 13a kõrgeimalt tasemelt märgib ajalooliselt endiselt paljulubavat taset, kuid mõnevõrra ebakindlamaks muututi just tuleviku väljavaate osas, mille taga võisid olla uue administratsiooni laiemat vastukaja saanud sammud.

USA aktsiaindeksite rekordid ja tugevam dollar mõjusid uue nädala alguses motiveerivalt ka Aasias, kus MSCI Asia Paciific indeks kerkis kõrgeimale tasemele alates 2015.a suvest. Jaapani majanduse kvartaalne annualiseeritud kasv aeglustus eelmise aasta viimases kvartalis 1,0%ni pärast kolmanda kvartali 1,4%, osutudes lähedaseks analüütikute 1,1% prognoosile. Eratarbimine, mis moodustab SKPst ligikaudu 60%, püsis kvartali baasil muutumatuna, ühtides konsensuse ootusega (Q3 +0,3%). Ettevõtete investeeringud suurenesid 0,9% pärast -0,3% langust kolmandas kvartalis (prognoositi 1,2% kasvu).

Majandusuudiste osas jätkub tänane börsipäev väga väikselt, kui ainsana võiks välja tuua Euroopa Komisjoni talvised majandusprognoosid.
