  • Reedene päev tõi Ühendriikides üsna dramaatilise ümberpositsioneerimise, mis liigutas S&P 500 indeksit kokkuvõttes vaid -0,1%, kuid kujundas sektorite lõikes oluliselt suuremaid erinevusi. Pikalt turgu vedanud tehnoloogiasektoris võeti kasumit (-2,7%), mille üheks põhjuseks võis olla ülekuumenemisest hoiatanud Goldman Sachsi analüüs, suunates kapitali ümber viimastel kuudel kehvemini esinenud energia- (+2,5%) ja finantssektori aktsiatesse (+1,9%). Nädala lõikes kaotas S&P 500 -0,3%, samal ajal aga jättis reedene tagasilöök Nasdaqi -1,6% punasesse.

Euroopa aktsiad kosusid reedel Suurbritannia eksportijate eestvedamisel 0,3%, vähendades nädala lõikes Stoxx 600 kaotust -0,6%ni. Suurema ülespoole liikumise tegid reedel Fingerprint Cards +7.1%, Fresnillo +3.6%, LANXESS +3.6%, Unione di Banche Italiane +3.5%, Antofagasta +3.5%. Enim langesid Berkeley Group Holdings -3.6%, Uniper -3.3%, Taylor Wimpey -3.3%, AA -3.1%, Travis Perkins -3.0%.

Pühapäeval otsustasid Prantsusmaa valijad koonduda oma presidendi Emmanuel Macroni selja taha, andes tema parteile parlamendi valimiste esimeses ringis ülekaaluka enamuse. Aastakümneid vaheldumisi võimul olnud sotsialiste ning konservatiive kõrval tõrjudes kogus Macroni veidi üle aasta tegutsenud erakond La République En Marche koos liitlase MoDem’iga 32,3% häältest, mis võib anda 577kohalises parlamendis kuni 455 kohta. Valimiste teine ring leiab aset käesoleval pühapäeval.

Käesolev nädal toob mitmeid tähtsaid sündmusi, millest kerkivad esile USA, Inglise ja Jaapani keskpanga istungid ja euroala rahandusministrite kohtumine, kus arutatakse Kreekale järgmise laenueraldise andmist ja potentsiaalselt ka võlakoormat leevendavaid lahendusi. Statistika raskuskese langeb kolmapäevale, mil selgub USA maikuu jaemüük, Hiina maikuu tööstustoodang, jaemüük ja investeeringud. Tänane börsipäev toob vaid Itaalia aprilli tööstustoodangu ning USA valitsuse mai eelarve maikuu ülevaate.

    21.00 USA valitsuse eelarve (mai)
