  • Allasuunas ei suutnud tehnoloogiasektor S&P 500 indeksit kaasa tirida, küll aga liiguti eile käsikäes ülespoole, mis tähendas laiapõhjalise indeksi jaoks uut rekordit (+0,5%). Sentimendi paranemine tehnoloogiasektoris aitas ka Euroopas Stoxx 600 indeksil 0,6% kõrgemal sulguda.

Öösel avaldatud Hiina majandusnäitajad jäid maikuus üldiselt stabiilseks, kui jaemüügi aastane kasvutempo püsis 10,7% peal (oodati 10,7%), tööstustoodang püsis 6,5% peal (oodati 6,4%) ning investeeringud fikseeritud varadesse aeglustusid viie kuu lõikes 8,9% pealt 8,6%le (oodati 8,8%). Eeltoodu baasil kasvas Bloombergi mudeli kohaselt Hiina SKP maikuus mullusega võrreldes 7,14%, ühtides aprillikuu tempoga.

Peamine tähelepanu koondub täna FOMC intressimäära otsusele, keskpanga uutele majandusprognoosidele ning Janet Yelleni pressikonverentsile. Selle eel jõutakse veel seedida USA maikuu jaemüügi ning inflatsiooni statistikat.

    11.30 Suurbritannia tööturu statistika (aprill/mai)
    15.30 USA inflatsioon (mai)
    15.30 USA jaemüük (mai)
    21.00 FOMC intressimäära otsus
    21.30 Janet Yelleni esinemine
  • Suurbritannia töötuse määr püsis aprillis 4,6% peal, palgakasv aeglustus boonuseid arvestamata 1,7%le (oodati 2,0%), mis eilse inflatisooni taustal tähendab juba reaalse sissetuleku langust
  • Euroala tööstustoodang kasvas aprillis MoM ootuspärased 0,5%, kuid seda tugevamaks revideeritud märtsi kasvu pealt (-0,1% asemel 0,2%). Mullusega võrreldes kasvas toodang samuti ootuspärased 1,4%.
  • Uute laenude maht kasvas Hiinas eelmisel kuul oodatud 1,0 triljoni jüaani asemel 1,11 triljoni võrra. Agregeeritud finantseerimine oli 1,06 triljonit vs oodatud 1,19 triljonit jüaani

  • USA inflatsioon aeglustus mais kütust ja toitu arvestamata -0,2pp võrra 1,7%le (oodati 1,9%), viidates ka FEDi poolt jälgitava inflatsioonimõõdiku edasisele aeglustumisele (aprillis 1,5%).
