Reedel sulgus Tallinna (-0.22%) indeks miinuses ning Riia (+0.37%) ja Vilnius (+0.20%) lõpetasid päeva plusspoolel. Käibeks kujunes põhinimekirjas 334 tehinguga 790 tuhat eurot, millest Tallinna börsi käive moodustas 194 tehinguga 434 tuhat eurot ja Vilniuse börsi käive 123 tehinguga 338 tuhat eurot.
Enimkaubeldud aktsia oli Šiaulių bankas (-0.35%) – käive 238 tuhat eurot ja tehingute arv 27, mille hulgas oli ka kaks plokktehingut (EUR 0.568 x 100000, EUR 0.568 x 82555). Olympic Entertainment Group (+2.20%) aktsiaga tehti 67 tehingut kogumahus 185 tuhat eurot. Tallink Grupp (-2.75%) käive 182 tuhat eurot moodustati 57 tehinguga.
Suurimad tõusjad olid Klaipėdos nafta (+4.04%, käive EUR 10k), Arco Vara (+3.38%, käive EUR 6k), Panevėžio statybos trestas (+2.86%, käive EUR 7k). Enim langesid PRFoods (-3.88%, käive EUR 5k), Tallink Grupp (-2.75%, käive EUR 182k), Baltika (-2.04%, käive EUR 1k).

On üsna haruldane näha Ühendriikides aktsiaturgu tegemas septembris uusi tippe, ent just sellega saadi reedel hakkama, kui S&P 500 indeks kerkis 0,2% 2500,2 punktini. Olgugi et Põhja-Korea lennutas järjekordse raketi üle Jaapani ning makromajanduslikud näitajad jäid reedel oodatust nõrgemaks, otsustati seda ignoreerida ning kasutada ära tugevat momentumit, mis viis S&P 500 nädala lõikes 1,6% (eurodes 1,7%) kõrgemale. Euroopas tiksus Stoxx 600 reedel -0,3% madalamale, lõpetades viie tööpäeva peale siiski 1,4% plussis.
USA augustikuu jaemüüki oodates eeldati, et orkaan Harvey jätab tõenäoliselt oma jälje mitmel tasandil, alates tõusnud kütusehinnast ja lõpetades müügipäevade arvu vähendamisega. Jättes välja nii automüügi kui ka kütuse, osutus jaemüük arvatust isegi nõrgemaks, kahanedes MoM -0,1% prognoositud 0,3% kasvu asemel. Arvestades jaemüügi kõrval veel tööstustoodangu statistikat, mis osaliselt orkaani tõttu alanes augustis MoM -0,9% (oodati +0,1%), olid analüüsimajad sunnitud tooma USA kolmanda kvartali SKP ootust allapoole. Muuhulgas korrigeeris oma ootust madalamaks ka Atlanta FED, kes näeb nüüd majandust kasvamas 3,0% asemel 2,2%.
Hiina kinnisvaraturu augustikuu statistikast on näha, et valitsuse jahutavad meetmed ning pakkumise suurendamine on suurlinnades endiselt mõju avaldamas, vähendades keskmist hinnakasvu 4,8%ni juulikuu 8,4% pealt. Samuti on näha, et hinnamõju kandub tugevamalt üle ka keskmise ja väiksema suurusega linnadesse, kus hinnakasv oli augustis vastavalt 8,4% ja 8,2% (juulis 10,0% ja 8,4%).
Nädal algab tagasihoidliku majandusuudiste valikuga, kuid kogub tuure järgnevatel päevadel, mil fookuses saab ennekõike olema FOMC järjekordne istung, mille raames peaks selguma bilansi vähendamise algus.
