  • Ehkki Inglise keskpanga otsus langetada intressimäära 0,25pp võrra 0,25% peale, suurendada valitsuse võlakirjade ostuprogrammi 60 miljardi naela võrra 435 miljardile naelale ning toetada täiendavate programmidega ettevõtete ja majapidamiste laenamist osutus paketina oodatust mastaapsemaks, piirdus mõju koduturuga, kus odavnenud nael kergitas FTSE 100 indeksit +1,6%. Ühendriikides jäädi ootama juulikuu tööturu raportit (S&P 500 0,0%) ning Euroopas liikus Stoxx 600 suuresti külgsuunas, lõpetades 0,7% plussis.

USA esmased töötu abiraha taotlused kerkisid läinud nädalal kolme tuhande võrra 269 tuhandele, ületades analüütikute 266 tuhande suurust ootust. Kuigi vallandamiste tase jääb ajalooliselt küll väga madalaks, näitas statistika alles loetud kuud tagasi, et kõrgemate majanduslike ja poliitiliste riskide korral kahaneb üsna kiiresti ka ettevõtete huvi uusi töötajaid palgata.

USA tehaste tellimused viitavad ettevõtete investeeringute jätkuvale langusele, kui juunikuus kahanesid tellimused -1,5% võrreldes maiga, osutudes analüütikute -1,9% prognoosist siiski mõnevõrra paremaks. Volatiilset transporditööstust arvestamata kasvasid tellimused MoM 0,4% (oodati -0,2%), kuid jäid mulluse tasemega võrreldes -4,4% madalamaks.

Üle ega ümber ei saa täna USA juulikuu tööturu raportist, mis peaks analüütikute ootuste kohaselt näitama pärast kahte ebatavalist kuud 180 tuhande uue töökoha loomist väljaspool põllumajandussektorit, jäädes kuue kuu keskmisest veidi kõrgemaks (172 tuhat). Üsna olulisel kohal saab olema ka keskmine tunnipalk, mille aastane nominaalne 2,6% kasv on ajalooliselt jätkuvalt madal, kuid saavutas juunis kriisijärgse tipu ning edasine kiirenemine suurendaks keskpanga veendumust, et inflatsioon võiks liikuda tagasi eesmärgiks seatud 2% juurde. Mitmel pool Euroopas avaldatakse juunikuu tööstustoodangu näitajad.

  • Saksamaa tehaste tellimused valmistasid juunis pettumuse, kahanedes MoM -0,4% ja YoY -3,1% (oodati vastavalt +0,5% ja -1,5%). Langus tulenes välismaise nõudluse vähenemisest.
  • Hispaania tööstustoodang kasvas juunis MoM 0,2%, jäädes konsensuse 0,5% prognoosile alla. Mullusega võrreldes aeglustus kasvutempo 0,8%le (oodati 1,3%) ning PMi kohaselt ei tohiks juuli muutust paremuse suunas tuua
  • Ka Itaalias kujunes juuni tööstustoodang arvatust nõrgemaks, kahanedes maiga võrreldes -0,4% (oodati +0,3%) ning mullusega võrreldes süvenes langus -1,0% peale (oodati +1,0%).
  • Ajal, kui Austraalia keskpank langetas loetud päevad tagasi intressimäära rekordmadalale 1,5% peale, peavad aga sealsed suuremad kommertspangad vajalikuks deposiitide intressimäärasid tõsta. Link

  • ma ei ole ise põhjalikumalt Austraalia pangandussektorit uurinud ja teooriaid võib olla mitmeid alates sellest, et madalatest intressimääradest ja halbadest laenudest survestatud Euroopa finantssektor sunnib kapitali otsima jaeklientidelt, tahetakse et arveldusarve asemel hoiaksid inimesed oma raha rohkem deposiitides, mis muudaks kapitali panga jaoks pikaajalisemaks või tahetakse survestada väiksemaid konkurente
