  • Pärast reedest tugevamat tõusu ning rekordite purustamist tõmmati eile USA aktsiaturgudel hinge, kuid kaotused püsisid siiski minimaalsetena ning S&P 500 sulgus vaid -0,1% madalamal, kui WTI nafta 2,9% tõus (43,02 USD) aitas läbi energiasektori leevendada nõrkust tervishoiu- ja tarbekaupade sektoris. Päeva entusiastlikult alustanud Stoxx 600 indeks sulgus sisuliselt ilma muutuseta.

FEDi koostatud indeks on näidanud viimasel kahel kuul tööturu tingimuste märkimisväärset paranemist. Esiteks revideeriti juuni -1,9 langus -0,1 peale ning juulis muutus indeks esimest korda alates detsembrist taas positiivseks (1,0 punkti vs oodatud 0,0). Janet Yelleni sõnul on indeks alles katsefaasis ning midagi lõplikku ei saa sellest rahapoliitika väljavaate kohta järeldada, kuid indeksi viimaste kuude põrge võiks olla täiendavaks kinnituseks, et kevadel aeglustunud palkamine osutus lühiajaliseks nähtuseks.

Kui paranenud trend USA tööturul annab võimaluse jätkata aasta teises pooles intressimäära tõstmist, siis inflatsiooni eesmärgi täitmisel on õhus jätkuvalt palju küsimusi. Eile avaldatud NY FEDi küsitluse kohaselt langes tarbijate pikaajaline inflatsiooniootus juulis 2,86% pealt 2,5% peale, mis on vaid marginaalselt kõrgem jaanuaris saavutatud küsitluse 3a ajaloo madalaimast tasemest (2,45%).

Aasias liikusid aktsiaturud neljandat päeva plusspoolel, aidates MSCI Asia Pacific indeksil jõuda viimase aasta kõrgeimale tasemele. Hiina tootjahinnaindeksi langus aeglustus seitsmendat kuud järjest, vähenedes juulis -1,7%le (-2,6% juunis ning parem oodatud -2,0%st), millele aitas osaliselt kaasa toorainete hindade stabiliseerumine. Tarbijate jaoks aeglustus inflatsioon ootuspäraselt -0,1pp võrra 1,8%le, jäädes alla keskpanga sihiks seatud 3%le.

Majandusuudiste osas jääb päev suhteliselt vaikseks. Suurbritannias oodatakse tööstustoodangu väikest 0,1% kuist põrget juunis pärast -0,5% langust mais ning Ühendriikide väikefirmade kindlustunde indeks peaks analüütikute konsensuse järgi püsima 94,5 punktil, olles viimased kolm kuud liikunud ülesmäge tagasi detsembri taseme lähedale.
