  • Euroopas ning mitmel pool mujal maailmas jätkuvad pühad pärssisid esmaspäeval aktiivsust ka Ühendriikide aktsiaturul, mida ostjad suutsid vaatamata pehmematele majandusnäitajatele ning maksureformi võimalikust edasilükkumisest hoiatanud USA rahandusministrile enda kasuks tööle panna. S&P 500 indeks sulgus 0,9% kõrgemal, kosudes osaliselt eelmise nädala langusest.

    Ühendriikide majade ehitajate kindlustunde indeks alanes aprillis oodatud ühe punkti asemel kolme punkti võrra 68 punktile, kuid arvestades eelneva kuu kuuepunktilist hüpet 12a kõrgeimale tasemele, püsib kindlustunne ajalooliselt endiselt väga kõrgena. Küsitlust läbiviiva NAHB juhi Granger MacDonali sõnul püsib nõudlus uute majade vastu kõrgena, kuid ehitajad seisavad silmitsi nii materjalide kallinemise kui ka mahukate regulatiivsete kuludega, mille vähendamist Trumpi administratsioonilt oodatakse.



    USA töötleva tööstuse aprilli esimese regionaalse küsitluse kohaselt kasvas New Yorki osariigis aktiivsus tagasihoidlikumalt kui märtsis. NY FEDi küsitlusel põhinev äritingimuste indeks alanes aprillis 11,2 punkti võrra 5,2 punktile (oodati 15,0) ning uute tellimuste indeksi järsk taandumine (21,3 punktilt 7,0 punktile) viitab tagasihoidlikuma kasvu jätkumisele. Sellest hoolimata muutusid ettevõtted järgneva kuue kuu väljavaate osas optimistlikumaks, mis aitas hoida palkamisaktiivsust sektoris robustsena ning tõsta kapitaliinvesteeringute indeksit nelja punkti võrra 27,7 punktile, saavutades kõrgeima taseme rohkem kui kahe aasta jooksul.

    Nädala makrokalender püsib USA-kesksena, kui täna saavad fookuses olema kinnisvaraturu märtsi esimesed näitajad (ehitusload ning alustatud elamuehitused) ning tööstustoodang. Ettevõtetest avaldavad oma tulemused enne turgude avanemist Bank of America, Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs, Harley-Davidson, Johnson & Johnson, UnitedHealth ning järelkauplemise ajal IBM ja Yahoo!.
